CASE 29-2017: WORLD PEACE PRIZE AWARDING
COUNCIL (WPPAC)
RESOLUTION on Corruption
and Hate Speech
Dear Rev. Dr. Han Min Sue,
We confirm the receipt of the WPPAC message, deciding to support
again the criminal behaviors of Wan Ko
Yee and Bhaddanta Kumarabhivamsa,
which reaffirms again the charges of Complicity with Violations against the
Buddhist Cultural Heritage and Complicity with Crimes against Peace;
We confirm that the International Buddhist Ethics Committee & Buddhist Tribunal on
Human Rights, as evidenced by internal laws, is an International
Organization, which means that it is not a state body, being regulated both by
the millenary system of Buddhist Law and by the system of International Human
Rights Law, especially having indisputable legality from the International
Labor Organization (ILO) Convention No. 169 on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples
and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples,
these being international instruments of
which USA is a signatory country;
We confirm that the International Buddhist Ethics Committee and Buddhist Tribunal on Human
Rights is part of the system of tribal governance of the Buddhist
Community, just like in the USA
there are more than 600 tribes with their respective non-state government
systems;
We confirm that the legal system of Buddhist
Law is 2600 years old, being the oldest system in the world, so its defense of
ethics and peace has legitimacy and legality under International Customary Law,
whereas WPPAC has only 28 years of existence
as movement;
We confirm that if the International Buddhist Ethics Committee and Buddhist Tribunal on Human
Rights were regulated by the State then it would be a non-international
organization, nor would it be a Buddhist organization, since any genuine
government of the Buddhist community should never be attached to any State;
We confirm that the WPPAC is destroying all its ethical legitimacy, for it is
supporting criminals, awarding with peace prizes to Wan Ko Yee scams and also rewarding crimes against humanity carried
out by Bhaddanta Kumarabhivamsa;
We confirm that WPPAC, if it is genuinely a peace organization, should not only
cancel the prizes awarded to both criminals, but also should not support and
denounce the genocide carried out by Myanmar
and Aung San Suu Kyi;
We confirm that the fact that Suzi P. Leggett on behalf of WPPAC allegedly has required the US Congress to initiate an
investigation against the International
Buddhist Ethics Committee & Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights, demonstrates
not only the WPPAC's decision to
break the reconciliatory and cordial bond with our international organization,
but it also shows a level of persecution against the individual human right to
freedom of expression and the collective human right to self-determination and
cultural governance of our Buddhist Community;
We confirm that the decisions of the International Buddhist Ethics Committee and
Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights are legal within the Buddhist Law, which
is a juridical tribal system under the International Labor Organization (ILO)
Convention No. 169 on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples and the United
Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples;
We confirm that Suzi P. Leggett's accusation on behalf of WPPAC when saying that the International
Buddhist Ethics Committee & Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights is a "scam with malicious motives,"
constitutes Hate Speech fraught with discrimination and ethnocentrism, which is
a violation of human rights, especially against the human right to peace;
We confirm that the accusation of Suzi P. Leggett on behalf of WPPAC alleging that the Presidency of
the International Buddhist Ethics
Committee & Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights "has no official recognition within Buddhism" is
slanderous and defamatory, taking into account the recognition received by the United Buddhist Nations Organization,
which is the second largest Buddhist institution in the world;
We confirm that Suzi P. Leggett appears to be unaware that a peace prize has been
given to Bhaddanta Kumarabhivamsa,
which makes such award is devoid of internal legitimacy;
We confirm that the International Buddhist Ethics Committee & Buddhist Tribunal on
Human Rights does not want to turn WPPAC
into its subsidiary, but rather to teach and correct those who are wrong, which
is the mission of every Buddhist master, even though Suzi P. Leggett considers this spiritual education as "immoral and shameful";
We confirm that all WPPAC members who voted for the award given to Wan Ko Yee have been
deceived on false premises, as this individual has created false
autobiographies and false spiritual acknowledgments for the perverse purpose of
selling paintings, thus constituting an act of Fraud;
We confirm that San Gabriel Valley Tribune's journalists Jason Henry and Steve
Scauzillo have publicly stated that when Wan
Ko Yee was wanted by Interpol to arrest him “his followers
spent roughly $120,000 on lobbyists over the past 10 years to get recognition
from Congress for him”;
We confirm that it should be demonstrated that Suzi P. Leggett or her congressman
husband did not received money from the followers of Wan Ko Yee, since otherwise this would constitute a terrible case
of corruption and organized crime;
We confirm that if WPPAC cancels the illegal prizes awarded to Wan Ko Yee and Bhaddanta
Kumarabhivamsa this will not prove that they are "a low class and irresponsible organization" as Suzi P. Leggett mistakenly claims, but
it will actually demonstrate that WPPAC
has self-criticism and humility, not being "a
scandal" but rather an act of peace and justice;
We confirm that Suzi P. Leggett's message makes a fraudulent and misleading
assertion when stating that Wan Ko Yee
has "tremendous influence in the
field of Buddhism", thus being a lie the fact that he has
acknowledgments of Buddhist lineages and traditions, since he is nothing more
than a scammer who violates and usurps the Buddhist Cultural Heritage to earn
millions of dollars, which constitutes an unprecedented Fraud in the history of
Buddhism;
We confirm that to say that Wan Ko Yee "was supported by 28,000 Buddhist organizations" are fake news as deceitfully stated by Suzi P. Leggett, to whom we publicly
challenge to submit evidence of the alleged and non-existent list of 28,000
Buddhist organizations supporting this criminal;
We confirm that what we disclosed regarding
this Fraud committed by Wan Ko Yee
and supported by Suzi P. Leggett
does not constitute an insult to the WPPAC members at all, because it is
sincerely aimed at providing aid to your organization, since furthermore only
someone who is corrupt and has been bribed with money might feel an act of transmission
of Truth as insulting;
We confirm that Suzi P. Leggett's statement on behalf of the WPPAC accusing the International
Buddhist Ethics Committee & Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights to be
engaged in "ideological terrorism
(...) and disruption to a peaceful society" is a very dangerous
statement, being a serious threat to peace and a violation of human rights, especially
during a time when terrorist groups are persecuted and killed internationally;
We affirm that Suzi P. Leggett's statement on behalf of WPPAC threatening to take legal action against the International Buddhist Ethics Committee
& Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights and accusing this humanitarian
organization of Buddhist Law of being "swindlers"
is not only a manifestation of violence and hatred, but is also an evidence of
fear of the Truth;
We confirm that Suzi P. Leggett's statement saying that if the WPPAC annuls the award given to Wan Ko Yee "What would
it be like to have 28,000 Buddhist organizations take legal action against
[WPPAC]" and that "that
will be the end of WPPAC !" is not only an act of corruption and a scandalous
lie because these organizations are fictitious, but it is also a threatening
act of manipulation against WPPAC’s
President, who has publicly thanked the ethical assistance of the International Buddhist Ethics Committee
& Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights;
We confirm that the whole message of Suzi P. Leggett on behalf of WPPAC, because of its degree of hatred
and delusion, does not correspond to the proper ethical behavior that any
member of such organization should have, demonstrating once again that WPPAC incorrectly gives peace prizes to
people who do not deserve it, since she has received a peace prize as well;
We confirm that it is formally requested that
in a term of no more than 5 days the WPPAC
publicly apologizes to the International
Buddhist Ethics Committee & Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights for the disastrous
misconduct of Suzi P. Leggett, who
has attempted against the dignity of our Buddhist Community;
We confirm that in case of not receiving
appropriate public apologies for the illegal acts of Suzi P. Leggett then new legal charges will be initiated against WPPAC under the legal procedures of
Buddhist Law;
We confirm that the International Buddhist Ethics Committee and Buddhist Tribunal on Human
Rights will not allow criminals to destroy Buddhism, such as swindlers and
genocidal people do, because if one were able to lose one's life for this
struggle, one should remember that every Buddha is always willing to
self-sacrifice for the sake of Peace, Justice, Truth and Reconciliation, such
as Siddhartha Gautama and Jesus of Nazareth did it.
