Statement on Illegal Practice of Psychoanalysis

The International Buddhist Ethics Committee, on November 17, 2018, decides to officially communicate with the INDIAN PSYCHOANALYTICAL SOCIETY following the Judgment against Deepak Rao as Responsible for the crimes of Violation of the International Buddhist Law, Violation of the Rights of the Buddhist Peoples, Violation of the Buddhist Ethical Precepts, Fraud, Militarism and Crimes against Peace. In this sense, it is confirmed that Deepak Rao has publicly stated that he is a Zen Master, member of the Sanbo-Zen lineage, and that he is a Psychoanalyst too. The International Buddhist Ethics Committee confirms that recently the Sanbo-Zen lineage has denied the fact that Deepak Rao received the aforementioned degree, which is new evidence that this individual is committing Fraud in order to deceive people through the ostentation of titles that he does not have.

On the other hand, the International Buddhist Ethics Committee would like to share with the INDIAN PSYCHOANALYTICAL SOCIETY the fact that Deepak Rao shows Paranoid traits, which has led the Committee to declare that it is very unlikely that this individual can actually be a Psychoanalyst. The International Buddhist Ethics Committee asks INDIAN PSYCHOANALYTICAL SOCIETY to investigate Deepak Rao for the crime of Illegal Practice of Psychoanalysis, which will be helpful for many people seeking professional help in order not to be scammed by this individual with a paranoid psychosis.
